I use these kits to light up vintage furniture cabinets. So far so good. The extra hardware it came with saved me a lot of time getting these things fixture to old wood. I’ve bought a lot of kits from Amazon. This is the best lighting kit. I’ve ran across so far

Upon install the product is really nice! Quality product, straightforward electrical install with minimal pieces and effort and not frustration from cheap junky screws etc. Would recommend but leave extra time. Delivery is over promised (next day - Monday) and poorly delivered. (Friday)

I bought the NEEWER 18" RL-18 Ring Light Kit after struggling with smaller lights that left my TikTok tutorials dim and uneven. I’ve been using it for the past six months, three to four times per week, mostly for overhead cooking shots and makeup recordings in my home studio. The difference was immediate. The 240 LEDs deliver a soft, even 55W daylight glow (5600K) that erases shadows and makes skin tones look natural. The large 18-inch size covers a wide area, so I no longer need extra desk lamps. The pros are strong. First, the light quality is excellent for both video and photography, giving my content a professional look. Second, the included color filters surprised me-especially the warm filter, which adds a flattering tone compared to plain white. Third, the Bluetooth remote became part of my routine, letting me start and stop recordings without touching my iPhone. There are drawbacks. The included 61-inch stand is lightweight and feels unstable if extended too high, so I keep it lower when filming around kids. The plastic housing and filters feel fragile compared to pro gear. Also, the stand legs are packed upside down, which was confusing to set up the first time. Compared to my old 12" UBeesize ring light, the Neewer is far more powerful and covers more space, though the UBeesize was easier to store. Against a professional Godox light, this kit feels less durable, but you’re getting about 90% of the lighting quality for a fraction of the price. An unexpected bonus was the catchlight effect-that perfect circle reflected in my eyes instantly made videos look more polished. If you’re a beginner creator or small business owner looking for affordable, professional lighting for TikTok, YouTube, or product shots, this kit is a great choice. If you shoot daily in a full studio, investing in a heavy-duty setup like Godox or Manfrotto will make more sense. My one suggestion for improvement is for Neewer to upgrade the stand’s locks to metal for more stability

I put up two of these lights over my kitchen island. They were easy to put up. The lights are perfect. Love the way it lights the island but the light isn’t in my eyes when I sit on the couch which is across from the kitchen

The assembly was nice and easy but I was amazed on the quality of the light that was emitted from these. Price is unbelievable for the quality. One of those Amazon products that really provide a lot of value

I had two older fluorescents already recessed into the bottom of the cabinets so it did make it easier for me. I wasn’t positive how I was going to put a new set in but ordered this set and it arrived the next day. It had everything you need in the kit and more. You can hardwire it or use the plug. You can use a switch or a dimmer or both. It has three different methods of hanging the wires. It had extra plug and play wire sets if you need to run the lights further away opening your options. I used my recessed areas after removing the old ballast sets to tuck the pack and dimmer and wires into. I ran six lights and hung them with the plastic clips. Very easy and straightforward. I now have six lights which two around the corners and I can set the dimmer. I hard wired into one of the old sets. I’m happy

Did they give you enough of everything that you needed for the job?

This is a name brand electrical item which is very important to me as far as household safety concerns. Beyond that,fundamental preference the appearance and quality of the lighting are very elegant, not harsh. Nice

We purchased a set of these to go over my favorite paintings and absolutely love them! The lights are easy to install and look beautiful! I love that the direction of the light could be adjusted. These daytime pictures aren't doing them justice, but trust me, they are perfect!

these puck lights are made of high quality machined aluminum. very compact but still give off a bright light on 100% power. outstanding quality for the price!

So far they're great! I used these to replace a microwave bulb that had burned out. It was in a hard to reach area at the underneath area of the microwave installed under my cabinet. The metal piece of the lightbulb got stuck in the light receptacle when I tried to take it out so, I bought this strip to replace it. I used extreme sticky double-sided tape to attach it to the metal underneath of my microwave and so far it's holding great! The lights are extremely bright, but out of the way underneath. Definitely wouldn't put them in an area where you would look at them directly they are that bright

The product works as intended; however, during the initial setup, the solder for the female end of one of the light bars broke off. I had to re-solder it, which was frustrating for a brand-new item

Unless you spend big bucks on light bulbs (if you can find them) that don't 'glare' thru the clear glass, forget it. I love them now that I took white spray paint and sprayed a very thin coat where the cussed CFL bases show, feathered the paint to just a bit towards the bottom. Perfect

Worked great once you figure out how to route it all. Having some extra wire/spacers would be nice, especially for bigger safes like mine. Good lighting, would recommend

Clipped this light to the top of a framed picture with a large angled traditional frame because we wanted to light the painting and stuff on a table under it.. The clip is by no means inconspicuous. Note that there are options for mounting to the wall or to the back of the picture frames but they require tools and permanent attachment. Biggest challenge is recharging, light needs a USB charger, not included, and unless you have an outlet nearby you have to remove it or get a lonnnnnng extension cord. Luckily I have a couple of portable phone rechargers and I am able to use them to recharge the light without removing it
