Outdoor Cooler Box, Portable Beverage Cooler, Patio Chill Station

Used all summer when shopping for groceries at farmers's markets. I was thinking about purchasing a Yeti but saw this for 400 less. With adequate ice gel packs, kept all my meat, fish, vegetables and fruits nicely chilled even on 90+ degree days. I have always had a great experience with Igloo products. Glad I saved so much $ - now I can spend it on gas:(((

We bought this for a long car trip out west. Packed it in our luggage, bought a capsule on the road, and used it for day trip lunches for 3 weeks. Keep things cold. Only pain is the shoulder strap- the rubber pad for your shoulder will only center with the strap at its longest. Lots of compartments for plasticware, condiments etc. good

The key is matching the Cooler to your needs. So, in my particular situation, this cooler is perfect. My primary usages are trips to Costco to buy vegetables, meat etc., as well as weekend getaways and the occasional party where I'm carrying supplies. It has sturdy handles so I can lift it easily. It isn't so big I need help lifting and carrying it. It has a latch which prevents the lid from flying open, and the latch works admirably. I'd describe the box as 'squat' which means, in my SUV, the box is stable, not inclined to tip over. I noticed immediately this box kept cooler for much longer than my old cooler. With enough refrigerant blocks, it keeps food cool for most of a day, even here in an Arizona summer. To be fair, my old cooler had seen 20 years of service so maybe the lining was deteriorating? For me this was the perfect size box (male, 6 feet) and ticked all the boxes. I can't comment on the long term durability, but it seems well made and everything fit properly - the latch closes easily with a satisfying click and both the hinges and handles work well. Time will tell. For bigger shops, I am planning to buy another cooler. They are sized to easily fit length-wise in a typical car or SUV so very convenient

I bought this cooler mainly for fishing and so far I’m really happy with it. It’s a really good size and has plenty of room for fish and ice. It feels strong and sturdy, and the lid closes properly. It also keeps everything nice and cold while we’re out fishing. I was looking for something big enough to hold a good amount of fish without having to worry about running out of space, and this does the job. Definitely happy with my purchase

Refrigerator failed in our camper just prior to a 3 day camping trip. Bought this as a work around until the fridge could be repaired or replaced. Had two coolers. An older Rubbermaid for drinks. Ice in it was mostly gone at the end of the 3 days. This Igloo cooled still had a little over half its ice after the same 3 days. Camper interior was running about 75 degrees throughout the day

his other cooler bag had a problem with the zipper so we had to get him a new one. this is the one we chose. it's got a pocket on the front, and two mesh pockets on the sides. it folds down when not in use. it appears to be well insulated, and keeps food cold with the ice packs all 14 hour work shift. it has handles and a long shoulder strap so it's easily to carry. the top opens fully, which lets you pack it easily and efficiently i got him the black, it looks like it will be good looking for a while. it holds enough food for his three meals a shift at work, plus cutlery and beverages. and so far the zipper is good

This is our favorite cooler that we use. IT's big, the inside does not have bumps in it to minimize space and keeps everything cold. It does not have the 7 days keeps ice retention but it does exactly what we need it to for a long day in the heat of keeping ice cold. We use this for our Mobile bartending business and absolutely love it. It's lite for carrying empty, easy to clean and holds up to abuse

Purchased for my blue collar man and it works perfectly. Fits his lunch, drinks and snacks with room for ice packs! Good size to keep in his truck or in his equipment on the floor. He loves the easy access to grab and go!

Keeps my food and drinks cold as long as I need it (2 days) and has lots of room. easy to wipe down for storage. Everything is sturdy and its exactly what I was hoping for

I caught this on sale for less than $60 and at that price it was worth it. This is a large ice chest. It holds little bit longer than a cheap Coleman but the quality is not that superior. Temperature retention is okay but not nowhere near a yeti. There was no assembly required. This is mobile and it has a nice feature where you can drain water out. Its appearance is better than the competition

Great cooler. I can confirm that the 52 quart/49 L classic cooler from Coleman can keep the ice for more than 3.5 days! I placed four large Tupperware with frozen water in them into the cooler. The top container melted fastest and was completely melted by 90 hours. However, the three other containers below the top container were not fully melted by 90 hours. I have included a photos taken at 24, 48 and at almost 72 hours. At nearly 72 hours the top container was 90% melted. The 2nd was 40% melted. The 3rd was 35% melted. The 4th and bottom one was 50% melted (not shown). Love the handles for carrying. Love the drain I opened and closed the drain at the very beginning before using the cooler,and when there was water built-up in the cooler, it did not leak. At nearly 200 pounds I can sit on the cooler with no problems. As others have said, the lid hinge causes the lid to close. It will not stay open when opened. I have something that I put in the space next to the hinge that keeps the lid open until I’m done working in it, but I wish it would just stay open when I open it until I’m ready to close it. This isn’t my first Coleman so I was already aware of this

Love the size, it is exactly what I was looking for. My only negative is the lid, is came a little warped, not very sturdy, I hope it stays closed and keeps the items cold because it is not insulated. Also no latch to close

Good for 1 or 2 days. I just use mine for filling with water bottles and soda and ice. No latching closure is a big miss. Good quality. Handles work great and it’s light weight. Drain plug. Great for day use or packing snacks for the kiddos game days
