We have a dark hallway that only gets minimal light in the daytime. The HONGUT rechargeable picture light works very well on our hallway artwork - and provides slight pathway lighting too. I probably will only use this when company comes over, it's pretty impressive and looks built-in/wired. I like this version better than another brand that we have elsewhere in the house - this one is rechargeable and the other one is not. I go through quite a few batteries in the other brand, and in this one I just plug in a portable power bank and charge it. So far we only have a use for white lighting - although the various color options is nice to have, I don't see it being used anytime soon - if ever.
