Candles work great in the pumpkins, love the remote and the 2 settings

I really like these battery votives. The warm white is a nice neutral color. The flickering “flame” is realistic. The timer feature is ok, but I really wish there was an “off” switch

These are awesome! The timer is great with no remote to mess with. I put batteries in them 1.5 months ago and they are still going strong

You will want to get 8 AA Alkaline batteries (2 AAs for each unit) and 2 AAA batteries (for the remote) -- NiMH rechargeable batteries do NOT work with these units. Or rather, they barely work, but the lights are very dim. After a night of rain, the pumpkins gathered some water in the bottom and shorted out one of the units. So they're not water proof either. (I wasn't expecting them to be, of course.) If you let the unit dry out, it should start working again. (At least mine did.) Be sure to carve a drain hole in the bottom of your pumpkin so that rain can drain out and not collect in your pumpkin. The auto On/Off timer feature works very well and is a very nice touch. I opened up the unit to see what it was made of. It's a simple Programmable IC with oscillator, IR receiver, and a single white LED. Unfortunately, there's no current limiting resistor next to the LED, otherwise it might be possible to alter the circuit to allow NiMH batteries to work. If you want to use rechargeable batteries with these units, you'll have to get some of those new Lithium-Ion AA batteries that output a steady 1.5v

I got these votives for my Christmas lanterns. They are bright and I love that the timer makes it so they go on/off by themselves every night. You can make them any color you want

I LOVE these candles! The timer function is very convenient and I don't have another remote to keep track of. The soft flickering light creates just the ambiance I was looking for. I will definitely be ordering more sets

These flameless votive candles are the best I have tried so far. The base is easy to remove to insert the battery. Although I can understand the ones that need a screwdriver to open (families with small children), this one is easier for adults

Works amazing used them in our 80/90s wedding long battery life and good light definitely recommend

I really like these votive candles with timers. I find them very bright in the votive holders. I started using about six at the same time every night using the timer. Some of them lasted longer than others before needing a battery change. My only complaint is changing the battery. These little screws you need to take out to change the battery are very tiny and I found it difficult to find a screwdriver that would fit them, even trying the tiny glasses screwdrivers. I chose not to screw the cover on as tight and they still work perfectly. That is my only complaint

I'm using these to create a faux campfire for my halloween decorations. These flicker perfectly and I can also use them in pumpkins. I like they look like tap lights, it just makes them more workable in a wider variety of things rather than the "tealight" looking ones. Also, the remote works perfectly

These worked for the pumpkins, I didn't have to get my hands dirty every night to turn on or off to save batteries

Loved these, the designs on the candles were lovely and they didn't look "really fake" like many of these candles can look. A set of batteries lasted me the entire Halloween season, I did use the timer which worked quite well

So glad I ordered these!!!! I gave these as a Christmas gift to my niece who just loves anything Halloween. Don't know if she has used them yet but said she was going to set them out now because they were so neat to look at

These are so pretty when lit up. One of the is more yellow then the other 2 that orange but I like the effect. I put that one in between the other 2. The remote and timer function work great

Although I have not used the timer function, I assume it works as well as the cuts bright lights

Highly recommend displaying these everywhere. Purchase batteries as well. Multi colors or stable on one. Adds beautiful lighting to interior of display cabinets and curios. Bought more for Holiday decor. Perfect for Christmas and Halloween. Set for your team colors on NFL Sundays

So far, I have had three of the candles on display. The look quite beautiful and I love the glow of the candles. Looks wise: 5/5. Timer and battery function, I have to give 3/5. Now, of the 3 I have used, the timer works flawlessly and batteries have been holding up fine. One candle has gone rogue. I noticed the 1 candle sent off less light and had a delayed turn on from the auto timer from the others. So turned off/on, gave candles a day off from use, reset timer on remote, etc- this one is still rogue, battery is about to die after maybe 20 (scheduled) hours of use? I am going to replace the defective one with another and see what happens. I really do love the look of them, just bad luck with the battery situation and timer for one of three used thus far

These candles looks and works great. Even when the battery gets low, keep it on and it gets brighter
